Dog Cat Bear Productions sets its sights on bringing more creative jobs to Central Florida.
Our mission is to create, film, and produce media and artistic work in Central Florida that are viewed on an international scale, in an effort to make Orlando a global entertainment hub.
The mission is two-fold. First, we want our work to be recognized on a global scale, proving that teams in Orlando can produce the quality of work that is normally seen in other major entertainment hubs. Secondly, we want to consistently shoot episodics, short films, and feature films in Central Florida in an effort to create entertainment jobs. The goal is to keep high-level professional artists, crew, and production teams here, rather than seeing them move to other large cities.
We aim to be job-creators. Producing film and television requires a huge team: line producer, production manager, production coordinator, location manager, director, director of photography, first assistant director, second assistant director, child wrangler, camera operators, boom operators, script supervisor, craft services, production assistants, grips, gaffers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, actors, editor, music supervisor, composer, photographer, sound designer, accountant, and marketing team, to name a few.
High level, professional, experienced talent exists in Orlando, but Central Florida needs enough work to convince people to stay in the area. We want to create the work so the people who do the work continue living here. We also aim to pay our creative and production teams a living wage so they aren’t forced to take multiple jobs outside of their field while they are working on a Dog Cat Bear production. When talented people are able to solely focus on their area of expertise, the results are noticeable.
Dog Cat Bear Productions is led by a diverse team of experienced creatives. We have education and on-the-job knowledge in many aspects of the entertainment industry, including acting, directing, producing, filming, composing, writing, and editing. We will produce work that will compare to the films and shows coming out of Hollywood and Atlanta.
The only way for us to have the time to dedicate to our mission and to hire the necessary talent to create this level of work is to bring on investors. These investors can be silent partners, or can be producers or executive producers on our projects. Any level of investment is welcomed, and once our films and shows finish production and start the distribution process, our investors and producers can expect to begin recouping their investment, depending on distribution, sales, and views. Grants, sponsorship, or funding that doesn’t expect an ROI are of course also welcome.
If you would like to contribute or invest in a project, or submit an idea for a project you are interested in producing, please contact us and a member of our team will reach out.
